DANA NECHMAD

In my textile work I focus on the tangibility of skin, which I translate into texture. The canvas is dyed and then bleached, the needle goes in and out, and the image is formed from the gaps between the dots. 

My paintings and textile works complete each other. One looks from the outside, while the other seeks to penetrate inward. Different approaches I take in my search for the essence of embodied interaction.
